Nationals' CFer Michael Taylor goes 0 for 5 at the plate with 5 strike outs ...and then makes the error that cost your team the game in the bottom of the 9th.
Interesting. Brings up the subject of players having the "worse" day ever on a ballfield. Jeez, you really have to be imaginative to come up with something worse. 0-6 with six Ks and making game losing error. Or striking out five or six times, and making two errors one which allowed the game to be tied in the 9th, then making the game losing error in the 10th inn? lol I wonder if it has been done before, when was the last time?
Without a doubt, I saw his performance. I really felt for the guy. I cannot remember a worse game. That game ending error was the ultimate nightmare after 5 Ks at the plate. I do not think a psychiatrist could help him. Hope he moves on.
The name of the game, be big about it, he'll probably have a future game where he goes 5 for five and catches the game ending out.
^^^yup, and that's one of the many things that attracts us to this fickle game called Baseball...you can go from hero to zero and vice versa in the blink of an eye.
