Aldrich has more of a traditional low post bangers body, Biyombo is like a really poor man's Ben Wallace. Honestly, I'd be fine with either as long as we added another quality player, preferably a backcourt defender that can play with either Dame or CJ.
An under the radar move that would fit Olsheys prior targets: Sign and Trading Meyers Leonard and a Future 1st for Brook Lopez. New Jersey needs all the young pieces and draft picks they can get right now.. I assume they'll look to trade Lopez. As long as we kept Meyers $7M cap hold and signed him for $13M, we could make a straight across trade for Lopez ($20M). This means we could sign $26M in free agents of we kept all 3 of our RFAs cap holds. If we renounced Harkless we could get $33M in cap space, while still being able to make the trade for Lopez. If we did that we could theoretically sign one of: Parsons, Whiteside, Howard And one of: Biyombo, Marvin Williams, Aldrich etc. So Let's say we trade Plumlee for a future pick and renounce Harkless, that leaved us with $36M to get Parsons and Howard. We could then Sign and Trade Meyers along with a future pick to Brooklyn for Lopez. Lillard (36) / McCollum (12) McCollum (24) / Crabbe (24) Parsons (32) / Aminu (16) Aminu (14) / Davis (22) / Lopez (12) Howard (30) / Lopez (18) A Crabbe/Davis/Lopez bench would be the best 6/7/8 man group in the NBA.
If he only talks about basketball, it could be a nice option for him. But there is sexier options basketballwise (GSW or SAS) and maybe more appealing in term of attractivity. But this last thing is more personnal. What if the year in Seattle was the best time of his life and want to go back to NW... I am just dreaming but guy is so secret nobody really knows what he thinks.
