If Jason Kidd is free out there, I think Cleveland needs to take a shot at getting him. I understand NJ needs a big man and they like Anderson. I will for sure dis our Andy + more for Kidd.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>According to three NBA executives, the Pacers are already in talks to move Mike Dunleavy to the Los Angeles Clippers for swingman Corey Maggette.Earlier reports have indicated a strong interest from head coach Mike Dunleavy, Sr. in his son, but that other members of the Los Angeles front office had reservations.</div>I read somewhere that the Clippers have no interest in Dunleavy, Corey Maggette is the much better player and it's a shame they want to trade him away for garbage.

It doesn't look like they can find a better deal for Maggette than this one (remember they wanted to trade him for Artest).

I know that his dad wants Dunleavy in Los Angeles, but I heard the front office doesn't.

Morris Peterson is also getting shopped around. I don't know if we're gonna trade him before the deadline, but this is his last season in Toronto. He is a FA, and I don't think he likes coming off the bench.

Kirilenko has a big contract and even though he's a damn good player, he isn't living up to the money. Maybe they feel comfortable with Boozer where they can deal for a more natural SF and have more money longterm...just a theory.

Kidd is still a top player in the NBA, and when he's on, he'll get you 20, 15, and 10. Just giving them a young energy player like Varajeo isn't going to help Cleveland's case in aqquiring Jason Kidd.

Would be hard as hell, but u never know.

Who's wyld thing? Varejao?I would guess that Larry Hughes and Varejao need to be in the deal in order to get Kidd.

And yes, it is Anderson Varejao.Hughes would most likely be in the trade to get Kidd. But does NJ want his contract? And a player that plays for 20 games and then misses 10 more? Hughes is never at 100%. He was when the year 1st started and then he got hurt vs. the Blazers and it went down hill.I think we can get Kidd without Trading Hughes, but it would be tough.

VC is a free agent in the off season, so New Jersey might be interested in Hughes as a shooting guard in the future.LA Lakers are interested in Jason Kidd as well.
