Oh yes, just read the first part of the tweet re Monteijunas. His back issues concern me as well but if HOU tendered him and gave nothing to Jones, what must they think of Terrence?

If Neil were somehow able to pull off Whiteside AND Kanter, I think we would all agree....needle moved.

How much would we have to give up salary-wise to get Kanter after signing Whiteside (assuming this could happen)? Plumlee + Aminu?

Hopefully! That would be ideal, IMO!

Good analysis here. If we could land these 2, do you see them on the floor at the same time? Would they stretch the O enough to allow Lillard & Co. to do their thing?

With Kaman, Henderson and Roberts effectively renounced and Alexander's contract date pushed back to July 25, that leaves the Blazers with around $25.5 million in Cap Space. For example, if you sign Whiteside to a $21M deal, you not have $4.5 million left. With Kanter's salary of $17.1 it would about take Davis and Aminu to make that work just because the Blazers don't really have a lot of other usable salaries they could trade.

When is the last time Division Rivals made a big time swap like that?

CJ is LIGHT YEARS ahead of Crabbe offensively and it ain't even close. Crabbe can hit a spot up jumper and sometimes a one dribble pull up. Give him more than one dribble and he has to pass.

    CJ can score on anyone.

And IMHO size is the only edge he has over CJ defensively. It's not like Crabbe is quicker laterally.

And let's just end the talk about trading CJ. It's not happening. He was Neil's pick.

Lol....I wasn't talking about trading CJ at all. Just responding to someone who was comparing the two seemingly only from the offensive side of the ball.

I want Batum on the Spurs kinda lol not for basketball reasons cause they'd get better... But because Parker, Diaw, and Batum would just talk shit in the locker room and every time LA walked by they would [IMG] at him lol

So is Dallas keeping Parson's? Nic at the 3 and Parson's at the 4 and Dirk at the 5? That would work at the end of games.
