If it is Kanter or Biyombo then sign me up for Kanter personally. But I not placing Kanter high on the Plan list (E or lower?) just that I don't want Bijombo at his big free agent price. Bust quotient high imo.

I'm glad so many of the commenters brought up the trade restriction. Even if we did want to trade for Kanter, by the time league rules would permit it, Horford will definitely have signed elsewhere.

Well, looks like there are Blazers edge articles linking us to everyone that we've ever discussed on this board. Kanter would certainly be fun on the offensive end, he's probably the best offensive center in the league.

Easy decision. Kanter is a young Z-Bo.

What would we offer to get them the cap they need?

We could just absorb his contract. Maybe throw in Plumlee/Vonleh

Why would we want to help OKC get Horford anyways?

I'd happily take Kanter, but I was hoping for him last year.

I think a defensive big is more of a need now than ever if we spend most of our cap space on Parsons + RFA's. I think it would make far more sense to get a guy like Aldrich or Biyombo now from a fit standpoint.

I'll take a Biyimbo. But... We likely don't have that kind of cap space if we were going to sign Parsons. A trade for a big seems more likely under such circumstances.

It seems that we could sign Parsons, and still have room to absorb Kanter's contract.

If he can stay healthy, and we trade for Kanter, we will be really good offensively, and 1st round good in the playoffs. At some point we have to play defense

Defense? What is that.... :breakdance: This could potentially be a very good offensive team but how many points will they have to score?

Just one more than the other team.
