Did Conley re-up in Memphis? Did I miss this?

Gasol is only 31. He and Conley are a really nice core. Silly, IMO, to say def not after year 1

No. His meeting with them has nothing to do with Conley already re-signing though. I'm guessing you know that

Gasol is 31, Conley will be 29 and isn't even guaranteed to go back, ZBo is 34, Tony Allen is 34. They are on the decline.

So if we get rid of the income tax do we suddenly become a destination?

I literally was asking if he signed. I didn't know. But if he isn't back, that's a big hole to fill in Memphis.

Not re-signed. I give it 50/50, but that's literally pulling that out of the air

I dont understand why the media makes a big deal about states/teams without an income tax. Player salaries are broken out and paid per game and are taxed based on what city/state the game is at. So not all of the players salary is income tax free if their home team is a state without it.

No. Portland is still not east coast, still not a big market, still known for its overcast rainyness on a national scale.

It will become an even worse destination if we pass a sales tax and keep the income tax (which is what would happen. No way oregon completely abolishes income tax. They will want 3 vehicles to use to tax, sales, income and property if given the chance)

League sources say Mike Conley and Chandler Parsons have had multiple conversations about playing together in Memphis. They never talked about teaming up in Dallas. Parsons, who has ruled out a return to Dallas, will meet with the Grizzlies on Friday in Los Angeles. Conley is scheduled to meet with the Mavs in Dallas.

Brian Windbag just said they want to add Howard and keep Horford and Bazemore. Does that mean Milsap is available? Do we have enough assets to land both Kanter and Milsap? Probably not, but it's a nice dream

If we get Parsons and Howard, we are better, on paper.
