Sacramento's X-Factor
[IMG]
Brad Miller
Season Stats: 9.8 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 2.9 apg
Miller has had way too many injury problems and setbacks this year for him to put up his usual numbers, but he's still Brad Miller. He can still do a lot of things offensively (hit jumpers, soft touch, excellent passer). He's going to have to play pretty tough on the glass tonight with Al Jefferson and Kendrick Perkins going up against him.

Boston's X-Factor
[IMG]
Ryan Gomes
Season Stats: 10.7 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 1.9 apg
Gomes will have to match up with Artest tonight, and that is obviously VERY tough on both ends of the floor. Gomes will have a tough time scoring in the post tonight, so everything he gets will have to be a cleanup bucket of a 17 footer. Defensively, it's going to be tough as well because Artest is incredibly strong in the post, plus you have to respect him from deep. Gomes will have his work cut out for him tonight.

Key Matchup
[IMG] vs. [IMG]
Kevin Martin vs. Gerald Green

Both of these guys are young scorers, both athletic, and both having excellent seasons in their own right. Martin is obviously further along and a little more polished than Gerald at this point, but Gerald has been tearing it up lately.

CelticBalla's Extra Thoughts/Notes
- Sacramento is on a 7 game losing streak.
- Boston is on a 5 game losing streak.

CelticBalla's Prediction
We lose again, Sac-Town finally ends their dreadful losing streak. We have a bit of an excuse for losing, the injuries and youth. Sacramento has good veterans, and the same team as last year that made the playoffs. They have no excuses, they are just drastically underachieving this season. But I see a Sacramento win tonight.

Been waiting to see Martin play for a while, kinda anxious to see him. DVRing the game because I'm going to the high school game tonight.

Martin impressed me while I was watching the 4th qtr. I was also pretty impressed with how we were able to stay in the game.

Defense was terrible, and we committed too many unforced, stupid turnovers. Ugh.

Delonte West
25 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal on 10-16 shooting, 3-3 3FG
Delonte was absolutely WET tonight. He was nailing all his shots, and he hit some nice 3's. That one 3 he hit at the end of the 3rd quarter was sick. Delonte really did a great job tonight. It's great to have my boy back, but I just hope it wasn't too early. Please stay healthy, Delonte.

Al Jefferson
23 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block on 10-16 shooting
Big Al was awesome tonight. Offensively, he absolutely abused Miller and Shareef. They couldn't do anything with him.

Ryan Gomes
17 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists on 7-16 shooting in 48 mins
He played the whole game, and he really did well. He grabbed a ton of long rebounds early in the game, he knocked down some jumpers, and he brought a lot of energy. This is the Gomes we all know. Let's just hope he stays consistent.

Gerald Green
7 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks on 3-11 shooting, 1-5 3FG
Gerald was terrible tonight, really. He couldn't knock anything down, he traveled a couple times, and he could not defend Kevin Martin whatsoever on the backdoor cuts. Not a good game from Gerald on either end of the floor.

Kendrick Perkins
4 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks on 2-4 shooting
Perk didn't really have a great game. He left Brad Miller open waaaay too often. He did make some beautiful passes, but other than that, a below average night for Perk.

Michael Olowokandi
7 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block on 0-1 shooting in 13 mins
O should have played more tonight. When he was in there, he did an excellent job. He picked up a few fouls, I know, but he did a very good job defensively. He changed a few shots, swatted one very nicely, helped on the boards, and hustled.

Rajon Rondo
5 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists on 2-6 shooting, 1-2 3FG in 20 mins
Rondo made some mistakes tonight. He turned the ball over and he passed up WAY too many clean looks. He needs to gain some confidence in taking that shot.

Sebastian Telfair
3 points, 2 assists on 1-3 shooting in 12 mins
Rondo 20 mins, Telfair 12? Innnnteresting, yet I was happy. I like Bassy still, but Rajon is my man. He deserves to play, he's a better player. But Bassy nailed one nice pull-up jumper when he first came in, but nothing else really stood out. He didn't penetrate like he should have. He had some open opportunities that he passed up.

Leon Powe
5 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal on 1-2 shooting, 3-4 FT in 9 mins
The Powe Show played really well again, when he was in there. He really brought the grit and hustle, like usual. I love Powe.

Allan Ray
2 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist on 1-2 shooting in 4 mins

Player of the Game: Delonte West
