Why is Neil Olshey not pursuing Bizmack Biyombo??? Our biggest need coming into free agency was a big man that can protect the rim and not one word of Blazers interest in Biyombo. He is a top notch rim protector that is only 24 years old with a 7'6" wing span. This guy truly has potential to be the next Ben Wallace. Instead Neil is targeting 35 year old plodding Pau Gasol who's game will fall off a cliff any day now and Ian Mahinmi who is a downgrade from Plumlee. What is Neil thinking??? So frustrating!

He's not very good and we would have to renounce most of our guys to get him?

    Because he's older than Gasol

Have you not been following the history of this franchise? We have to pay a scrub 70 million just to get his butt on the floor. No one wants to play here. If not for non-veteran contract status I doubt we'd even have a team.

Maybe he politely declined our request for a meeting?

Somebody who isn't as lazy as me should go find one of @Boob-No-More 's posts about Biyombo that show why not. He's barely even average. He's not an elite rim protector or rebounder and he can't score.
