    The idea that Quick pointed out is Boston may waive Johnson by the 7th to make salary room for other signings and that we would maybe look to sign him.

    I actually like Amir's fit with this team more than Davis. Not as bouncy, but offers a little more shooting and he's a better overall defender imo. Nice mobility while still being able to protect the rim. He'd be a good mentor for Vonleh too.

    Boston would be foolish to waive him though. He's a great back-up 4/5.
