Dame and CJ off the ball more. Turner drives to the hoop more and has a decent inside game that will help to kick out to an open dame or CJ.

Though it has been said he will be the starting three, I see him handling the ball in the second unit alot more, allow CJ to play off the ball more, which CJ really improved on last year.

Sure. That's the best and really only way to use Turner. But there is a reason why he's been a net negative on offense for his career. He's a below average offensive player that has a unique skillset that you have to cater to for him to be effective.

Again, my curious side is excited to see how Stotts uses him, but this might be his toughest job yet as far as finding a role for a player.

It wasn't a spin it was me mocking his -->post(ing)<-- simply because I pointed out a fact and he didn't like that fact.
Players improve from year to year. Henderson also had a career year from 3. CJ had a career year across the board. Plumlee... Do I need to continue?
I still believe firmly that Turner will help the Blazers when teams decide to trap Lillard/CJ. GSW's gameplan was to stop Thomas from scoring, Turner stepped up and hit timely shots from the field. Specifically late in the 4th in Bostons win in GSW.
If people don't think that's going to help the blazers. Or it's as @B-Roy put it "denial" then I question if I'm being trolled.

Does he turn it over a lot? 2.1 turnover in 25mpg doesn't strike me as a high turnover rate.

Boston fans were posting that he turns it over at bad times.

Here is a fun stat: Tuner has had a ts% over .500 only once in his career. It was last year and it was barely over .500

As a pnr ballhandler, he does. His turnover rate of 22.5% ranks 42nd among the 47 players who had over 300 pnr possessions last year.

    Turner had 10/5/5 on 45% FGs and 24% 3pt
    Michael Carter-Williams had 11/5/5 on 45% FGs and 27% 3pt

    Turner will make over $16M
    MCW will make under $4M

Turner is 27 years old, 6'7, and can play PG/SG/SF
MCW is 25 years old, 6'6, and can play PG/SG/SF

Both are solid defenders. We had to pay $16M for Turner. MCW is rumored to be available for a draft pick.

    I know who I would've rather had.

    Boom.

    Dynamite.

(I'm not freaking out, but there are other options. But I liked your post for your unbridled enthusiasm and cuz you're cool. It's a "meh" move. Don't care to haggle dollars cuz NBA pay is now ridic and is only going to get more ridic. It's about talent acquisition and improving the roster.)

Turner can create off the dribble better than all those guys put together, and would benefit greatly from the extra space created bt Dame and CJ

There's a reason why teams keep dumping him. He's a diva. You aren't factoring in attitude or work ethic.

Every player that plays for our coaching staff gets way better since Stotts took over. The thing our front office looks at is the team as a unit...not the individual stats...that's what I love about the new direction. CJ was on the bench for 2 years...so was Crabbe...CJ couldn't stay healthy...we showed patience...look what happened..I think they have a plan for Turner and plan to integrate him into the team concept. This is what's special about the Blazers and sucks about the Rockets and Lakers. I trust whatever moves they make knowing that they have a direction.
