Remembering some of Shields snide comments about the Yankees when a member of the Rays I want to see the Yankees kick his (Shields)) ass all over the South side.

Why was I in such a rush for this starting line up? LOL For some weird reason I just
panicked when iI did not see the lineup! Yeah, I'm weird when it comes to order.

Now, if the Yankees can get some positive order in the "win" column!

And Headley hits a 2R HR for the early lead. Good Guys 2-0.

Nathan Eovaldi will be pitching out of the Bullpen and Chad Green will get another start as per Jack Curry.

On this day 21 yrs ago, Mo' threw a 2 hitter vs the Sox. Had 4 BB's, 11 K's in 8 IP of shutout ball. Mo' entered the game with a 6.65 Era...(say wtf?)

Can only watch the game on CSN.... I bet ya' 100 to 1, Steve Stone has been spiking Hawk's drinks with Reds or Quaaludes... Hawk's not quit the outrageous Homer he used to be...

I'll try again - Yanks need to sweep this team.
Before the road trip began I said the Yanks "needed" to sweep S.D.,
and go 7-3 on this road trip.
Jeez, now they could be buried after this road trip.
    Need a sweep in Chicago.

CC gives it right back. Anderson hit a 2R HR .........2-2in the 5th inning.

Ellsberg & Gardner 0 for 6. What a great duo at the top of this line up.

    Any other choices Mr. Manager?

That bomb by Navarro may well have been the ball game.

I've long wondered (this year), how Joe sleeps, or does he sleep at all, thinking about the next day's game and Starter...ntm- the stellar Team's Hitting production or lack thereof-

What is Ironic: amongst worst in AL in all offensive categories, less striking out, an oxymoron....

    back to Joe-G
Sominex/Benadryl or prescription sleeping pills, followed by massive amounts of caffeine, or is it- Barbituates and Amphetamines, ? Propofol then Nose Candy...??? "Weed, whites and wine"....?

I'll take it easy on Joe... I feel for the guy, given this group of over the hill misfits...

Is it just me, or is anyone else getting fed up with MLB's over Commercialization(s)....

The Yanx from the back, look like the Twins, and the Pale Hose look like the Red Sox from all sides... Geezus those hats are FUGLY-, MLB can do better. I'll even concede too their over the top Pink Bats; on Mother's Day....

Hicks has gotten plenty of playing time and still fails at the plate, he's left five runners on base today. Shields has not pitched into the 6th as a White Sox until this gem of a team arrived.

    'bout time.
Just give him a few starts and leave him alone, find something out about him, see what you have.
Now is good a time as any to yank Eovaldi and give his spot to some farmhand who has been pitching well....in this case Green.

There's another kid down there- Dietrich Enns, LH.
    15 GS, AAA/AA, 1.73 ERA, 1.14 WHIP
And of course Severino is in ther mix.

At this point, I'd rather watch a couple of young SP struggle instead of Eovaldi and Nova- neither have a "history" of success in the majors and they've show no sign of turning the corner this year.
    Enough is enough.

Yeah. These Yankees can make any pitcher look great.

Amazing how those ex-Yankees can appear on any team and kick this bunch outta
    the ball park.

    ...^^^ undoubtedly so....

this is a Yanx Team that's lost their identity, while the future of this year is bleak at best, simply to remain a .500 Team, is a lofty goal....sad sacks of .....
