    They dodged bullets too!

    -They wanted to avoid Harden's extension so they send him for a draft pick which turned out to be one of the best Centers in the league (Adams).
    -They managed to avoid paying Jeff Green so they traded him for Perkins and then got Kanter for Perkins.
    -They wanted to avoid Ibaka's extension so they traded him for Oladipo and Sabonis.
    -Not paying Reggie Jackson, yet still not lose a step.

    Just avoid getting to these extension talks at all cost! got a good player? good, now trade him for a similar player with a long contract.
