Are we completely writing off Meyers as our CotF?

I certainly am. Sadly, I don't think Olshey is.

You know, a team that I think could really use him is the Cavs. His slow'n'low release means that he needs to be REALLY open to get his shot off, and I think he would be on that team, and LeBron would find him. Good complement to Tristan Thompson.

He's a complete spas doing anything other than rebounding and shooting from 23' So it's not like he doesn't have a bankable NBA skillset, its just that his court awareness seems so poor, and his ability to defend the pick and roll so abominable that it's hard to see him ever reducing those weaknesses to the point where you could trust him for 36 minutes a night.

Nice kid, likeable, nice shooter, but way too much of a one-trick pony for my tastes to call him CotF.

Biebs is like a Playboy Playmate that smokes cigarettes.... what a "turnoff".

In Bieb's case, he wants an enormous salary, he's "gambling on himself."

Worst and most probable case: We plays well for stretches, and his agent demands the max - yuck!

He's far from a one trick pony. His shooting for his size is what makes him special but also his athleticism, attacking the rim.
He's an intriguing offensive player and his injury hurt us.
If he continues to improve on defense, where he has long ways to go, he could be a great player for us. He's also still very young and I like his fire and competitive spirit

What??? He's awful at attacking the rim and he's really not even that athletic for an NBA player. He doesn't jump off of two feet well and he has extremely slow feet.

Are you sure you're not thinking of Kawhi Leonard?
