This is exactly correct. This would have been a relatively easy election for the Republicans to win, had you nominated someone who was minimally plausible for the job.

Instead it's going to be an electoral landslide the other direction.

    Much appreciated!

People always shy away from the flamboyant, rough talking straight talking people until the day of need finally arrives. Then and only then will the masses shut the fuck up and let the person that can do the job by forgoing the horse shit people want, and cutting straight through to what needs to be done.

This country is in deep trouble, we are under attack from forces that wish to destroy Americans, one at a time or in Mass, and we have no leadership that will even acknowledge the obvious.

The economy is in the tank and has been for closing on a decade now.

We are on track to pass the point of no return with mounting debt.

The earning power of most Americans has be falling for years now.

Education is not our problem, people can't even find away to use what the get. Working at what you have talent and training for, is not an option for far too many.

We have more people in the country than we can put to work right now and in the foreseeable future.

General Patton was the difference maker in Europe when we needed a leader, Flamboyant, straight talking man of action. Not the most popular guy.
Admiral Bull Halsey was the difference maker in the Pacific when we needed a leader, Flamboyant, straight talking man of action. Not the most popular guy.

They made the difference when the need was the highest and would never have be given the lead by the those that look for the polish, when the need is not so high.
General Eisenhower Was elected President not the men the did the job in the time of need. He was elected when the need was low, all he ever had was polish, but when elected, he played golf, stayed out of the way and the country flourished, no-doubt because it was the only industrial power left standing.

Now the whole Country is desperately in need, we do not need cool sounding policy, peddled by a slick tongue lier. We need to suck it up, shut up and hand the wheel to a person that at least can chart a course past the threats we face.

Then in four years, see if holding your nose, voting for can do, was as distasteful as you fear. More of the same shit will assure disaster.

Well it should, I expect this is a lack of judgement by the evaluator. If we have too many of those we will all be the loser.

I know you're smart enough to disagree with someone without insulting them.

It is your call Sly. I don't change much anymore. I find it necessary to tell people what I see as the truth from time to time. Perhaps it brings clarity.

Can't you just quit giving SPD such a hard time. Do you really want to be banned because you can't refrain from calling someone a Tool? It's not really that much to ask.

I think he meant hard time in terms of requiring moderating effort, but I could be wrong.

All I can do is give my opinions. That's all they are, my opinions based upon what I know of life and what I've learned in my years on the planet. If, in your opinion they show a lack of judgment, I guess I'll just have to carry that heavy burden of your diapproval. That said, I'm pretty confident that it is your (and others like you)lack of judgment in supporting Trump that will result in Hillary's election. Time will tell.

You know of course, that is illogical. You can feel this, but there is no logic.

Comey said 'administrative sanctions'. Denny Crane said 'firing'.

He also pointed out that Denny's oft-expressed opinions on the matter were worthless:

On the contrary, my opinion is backed up by polling data. The current average of polls shows Hillary up by about 6 points.
