For Blazers fans fed up with Comcast and satellite television, SONY Vue offers an interesting — and less expensive — alternative. The online television service, which quietly started carrying CSN last Spring, features a surplus of channels — and Blazers games — at a fraction of the cost of cable and satellite (around $30). It features a free trail, does not require a contract and is accessible using PlayStation devices, Roku, Amazon Fire and Google's Chromecast.
I'm looking at the PS Vue website and I don't see CSN offered in any of the packages ... EDIT: Nevermind, my corporate network defaults to Phoenix
How? They took less money to ensure as many people can view the games. Root sports is partly owned by directv. You dont think directv would think it was awesome to dick around with comcast and tell.them to fuck themselves? Keep in mind, this directv is a company not willing to agree to pac 12 network terms thats dish, comcast and frontier have all agreed upon. They are just as petty as the others. Makes complete sense what the blazers did
Pac 12 is a snoozefest, but that's an opinion of mine. My ideal world is that they all go belly-up, so my opinion of them is trash anyway.
Conspiracy theory, they're trying to turn all of the Oregon fans against them so they can move to Seattle!
I'm out of the area, but with DirecTV and NBALP, I got all the games. I had a choice of home or away announcers, too. I used the NBALP streaming service a lot and had the same choices. There's an NBA iPad app that streams the games, and for iPhone, too. I assume for Android as well. Seems like between Vue and NBALP, who's not covered?
Based on most of the comments, I'm guessing you guys didnt read the OregonLive article that Sly posted. Read it, educate yourselves before you freak out.
