She is guilty of a crime, and she is a serial liar. I don't have any problem admitting those things.

However, the crime is not one that people get prosecuted for. So, it might be a wee bit less serious than murder.

And apparently she didn't lie to the FBI (or she fooled them) since lying to the FBI would have been prosecuted. She did lie to the public, however.

She has issues with trust and transparency, no doubt. But Trump has issues with pretty much everything. So it isn't hard for me to say I'm voting for Hillary. Life is full of situations where you decide between two non-optimal paths. "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice"

Lying to the public IS lying to the FBI. Nixon was to be impeached for the things he lied about in his presidential speeches (re: Watergate).

Issues with "transparency" isn't the concern - it's that she cannot be trusted with top secret government information or to carry out and obey the laws.

You keep whining about Trump University. Not sure a crime was committed there, even if people were not satisfied. It's not being tried in a criminal court, nor has it been suggested that it should. Trump is being sued in a civil case, like the one where Paula Jones sued Bill Clinton (and he lied then, too).

It's pretty damn simple, she was the Secretary of State, if she only used her private server for email then she received classified emails. There is no way to do that job without classified information. To claim anything else is silly.

I think you make a logical error there. There is no way to do the job without classified information, but there is a way to do the job without classified information in email. Secretaries of State did it for a couple hundred years that way.

The relatively small number of her emails that were classified in fact supports her assertion that she preferred not to do business on email - which isn't that surprising given her age.

But, that relatively small number was not zero as she asserted.

Aren't we talking about 30,000+ emails? This hardly sounds like an old person who doesn't like to use those new computer things.

It doesn't matter what past Secs of State did, some of them had important messages delivered by pony express and telegraph. A big part of her job is to have the most accurate information delivered to her as quickly as possible. For many things email is the best tool for that.

Yeah, I know she isn't old by your standards, since she wasn't around to see the Civil War.

And out of 30,000+ emails, only 110 emails had classified information in them? I'd say that suggests that either she attempted to keep classified information out of her email, or the state department has a lot less secrets than I imagined.

That was kind of my point.

Sure. If you want to complain that she wasn't using email for classified information as much as she should have been, that's reasonable.

Not correct, and not correct. Two for two so far!

Civil cases plural. Including one filed by the State of New York. But if you want to excuse fraud, you go right ahead.

I don't expect this to change anyone's mind about Clinton (as it didn't change mine), but it's interesting for those who'd like to know what, exactly, the secret and top secret material in those e-mails was.

caveat from your friendly military member to anyone in a similar situation to me:

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/aug/6/pentagon-bars-staff-from-visiting-wikileaks-site/

No offense intended to Minstrel or anyone else, but if you're in the military (or, I'd imagine, other gov't service) you don't get to look.

There were thousands of emails with secret information in them.

110 of them were marked as such, proving the liar did lie about not sending any emails marked secret.

Thousands more were determined by the State Department to have been secret. Again, proving the liar lied about not sending any secret material at all. Coney flat out said she of all people was supposed to know even if unmarked.

She lied about turning over all her work related emails under oath before the Benghazi committee. Coney said the FBI found thousands of work related emails among those not turned over.

She lied about having permission to have a private server for her business emails.

She lied to everyone time and time again. The FBI is part of everyone, whether you want to wrongly want to dispute it. It kinda makes you look desperate... Actually not "kinda."

She lied about not being subject of a criminal investigation.

And she lied about Benghazi for days and weeks afterward, claiming it was all about an Internet video. The guy who made the video was made the fall guy and prosecuted. She is a threat to the Truth and free speech.

Why are you working so hard to defend the undefendable? Just stick with, "she's still better than Trump."
