    Fun fact #1!

Greg Oden has scored more points in the NBA than Festus has.

    Fun fact #2!

Greg Oden averaged almost twice as many points per game than Festus.

that would be stupid. tell him he signs for $9 million with an escalation next year with the bigger cap. (if that's possible)

If we get Ezeli we have three big men with basically no offense. And then we have Meyers, who I'd most like to get rid of, but probably becomes more valuable. Why would you then let go of Harkless, who can hit a three? Ed Davis does look like the odd man out, especially as Stotts never played him even 20 mpg.

Gotta be honest. I like the move for the blazers right now. Might change my mind once the contract details come out.

And boy does it feel good to be on the right side of positivity for the blazers this time so i dont have to argue with you guys this time :D

Should've had low hopes, then you'd be happy!

BTW TB -- Comparing Ezeli's "questionable " knees to Oden who i believe Blazer management at the time KNEW but were in denial is not even in the same ballpark. Oden wishes he had Ezeli's knees cause Oden has the knee's of a Old man about to die in a retirement home.

Psst... that was his 2nd knee surgery.

In June 2013, Ezeli was ruled out for six to nine months after undergoing surgery on his right knee.[11] He subsequently missed the entire 2013–14 season.,

No doubt he's going to sign for the vet minimum so that he can get a free ride to the first round of the playoffs.

if we get him at a "reasonable" contract then it's pretty decent signing IMO, this team has to take some chances

Is there a chance that Meyers just accepts the qualifying offer? That'd clear us $3.7M in cap space. Trading Plumlee would clear another $2.3M in cap space and then we'd have $14M to offer Ezeli.

I should have quoted the post I was replying to, which was the post saying he wanted $20M and we would drop Harkless. Dropping 20M on a one trick pony who can't stay healthy and letting go of Harkless seems foolish to me. I'm just not that impressed with Ezeli. At this point I'd rather roll with who we already have. A guy who can block a few shots isn't a $20M per year need. Increased salary cap be damned.

There is a real question as to how much we would need Davis if we signed Ezeli. Plumlee, Vonleh, Leonard aand Aminu and Harkless able to play PF.

He played 17 minutes a game last year and that's only 3 less than Davis. So...
