Well on realgm people always say would bulls want to take that curry trade back cause tyurs is a bust and what not. So someone found some cool stats here<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>NYK with Eddy on the floor: 107.4 points per 100 possessions scored 111.4 points per 100 possessions given up -4.0 NYK with Eddy on the bench: 106.3 points per 100 possessions scored 105.9 points per 100 possessions given up +0.4 So, as "great" as Eddy is playing, for some reason (some people call it defense) the Knicks are much better when he is not on the floor. In fact, if they would only put him out all the time, they statistically would be a above 500 team. This was the case with NY last year and with him in Chicago. Now, let's investigate that "bust 20 year old raw project" Chicago got for him, Tyrus Thomas: Bulls with TT on the floor: 108.5 scored per 100 97.9 given up per 100 +10.6 Bulls with TT on the bench 106.1 scored per 100 101.4 given up per 100 +4.7 So, TT has a significantly *positive* impact on the Bulls. . . . hmmmmm Defense matters and any discussion about Eddy has to include that very large hole in his game.</div>
that stat means nothing. thomas doesn't even play on the bulls, 10 minutes a game to currys 34. if they both played the same amount of minutes then the stat would have some relevence but the desparity between the two makes it meaningless.
Have to agree with the other two people I mean Eddy Curry plays about 36 37 mpg and his team is usually in the game while when Tyrus Thomas goes in they are either getting blown out or winning by a lot when the game doesn't even matter. Horrible topic
wtf bulls fans aren't liking that trade? Don't go on realgm, the forum people are dumb as hell. pacers fan forever would even look mildly intelligent and sane there.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Well on realgm people always say would bulls want to take that curry trade back cause tyurs is a bust and what not. So someone found some cool stats here</div>I'm not getting the complaints by Bulls fans. Isn't there more to the trade than just the "bust" Tyrus? Like this year's pick as well. But back to the bust label, kids a rookie and they're already calling him a bust? Not getting it, plus the contract Curry has. There's so many parameters around his move that need to be thought about before bashing it. Ben Wallace for example is one of them. With Curry, Ben is not a Bull.Stupid logic, why is this a topic?
exactly why is Tyrus Thomas considered a bust. Its his first year on a good team. Paxson knew he wouldnt get big minutes early on. Hes a project that is expected to be very good in 2 years, not now. And the trade cleared up cap space, which equalled Ben Wallace and we get another first round pick next draft.
Not to mention, with Curry, they don't have a lotto pick this year. fu*kin idiot realgm bulls fans. Pardon the language, I just hate that place.
stupid stats. stats are overrated and eddy curry is one of the young domainating centers in league. Leads all NBA C's in pts with 19.5 ppg

Eddie Curry is one of the only consistent players on that team, and I guarantee you that if they didnt have him for a game, they wouldnt play any better. The guy is playing great this year and you cant take anything away from him. As for Tyrus Thomas, he isn't really doing anything this year what so ever....He isnt getting a whole lot of time, but he isnt doing anything spectacular when he gets in the game anyways. I think that Thomas is going to be a pretty good player in the future, but not anytime soon.
I didn't know that they are already calling TT a bust. Everyone knew he was a project and the dude is just a rook. I don't see how he can be considered a bust.
