Plumlee, Davis, Leonard, Harkless, and Crabbe.........who goes to make room? Neil needs to be right on this one.

Really has to be Davis or Leonard; Plumlee's present cap space is too small and I don't want to give up Harkless or Crabbe.

If you are trying to keep the most skills available, it's Davis. Ezeli and Davis are both defensive oriented, mostly non-scoring big men. Leonard is the outside shooter, Harkless the most versatile, Plumlee the best passer and Crabbe the best wing shooter.

No. Most of us already knew that and were including that figure in our calculations.

Reeks of Parsons. Warned you guys last night -- Don't count your chickens.

He's got some serious red flags health wise. But it's still early. The PC with Turner is in 1.5 hrs -- let's see if anything comes out by then.

I thought we had already signed Layman. Hopefully it was just agreeing on terms. As BrianfromWA said, we can give him a contract starting at 8.9M. Guessing he would only want a two year deal though with a player option. We will also get the room exception after using our space. Doubt we would need Cliff anymore but could resign Montero if there is any interest above the minimum for him.

It's what's been projected. I was using 16.3 b/c the calculator I'm using shows 94M as the cap, when in reality it's 94.145M.

You guys both make sense. And I came up with the same conclusion. But I just don't want to.......
I think Ed although quiet, has a good veteran quality that I would hate to lose. Leonard is the highest Risk/Reward of the bigs due to his shooting skills, but he is who I would let go.....

Totally get where you are going with not wanting to lose Davis. He seems to have the most defensive 'attitude' on the team and that is greatly needed as it is in such short supply.

If Plums is dealt, Davis is your backup C and starting C if Ezeli can't go (injured, day off, foul trouble). In the case where Ezeli can't go, you have Leonard as the backup C.

A good GM like Olshey is going to plan for that sort of worst case and have an answer.

Maybe they've already agreed but need to clear cap space first. Pretty sure I spotted Ezeli in the background of the Turner signing photo

Turner posted the signing vid on his IG last night from some restaurant. There were clearly others there, but hard to figure out whom

Well, they're trying to decipher them right now. They've seen something like this before, but they can't remember where...
