Theoretically Meyers and Mason could command a similar ridiculous salary next year (If Meyers only sign the QO this year)
So who is more valuable to the team moving forward? Some say neither, but I like Plums.

I'd rather cross that bridge when we get there and do our best to win now. That means putting together the best roster we can.

People said that about Meyers this year. If he commands a ridiculous salary next year, but not this year, that would mean that during the upcoming season he will have earned a ridiculous salary. And in that case I want to keep him. If that scenario unfolds after we renounce him it will be worse than trading Jerm for Davis.

That black-and-red shirt is the exact same shirt Ezeli was wearing when he landed at PDX yesterday....

Hmm, ok. When did Turner sign? Seems odd he wouldn't have brought a change of clothes

Can't the same be said about Plumlee? Who is your choice to move?

I think that Leonard's S&T complicates things a bit. Plumlee is a lot easier to move contract-wise, and has a semi-established skill set and starting experience. In scouting words, he has good tape. He also has a year left on the cheap, and then RFA ability if you're a team that wants a center for 5 years. If he's not going to be ours, now's the time to trade.

Leonard probably wouldn't bring back much right now, anyway, even if the numbers worked out. And if he signs the QO we're likely not getting much of anything for him.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
That's true, there is the Non-Bird Exception, but the raises that can be offered in that case are lower at 4.5% (for comparison, the raises you can offer a Bird Exception player are 7.5%).

If Durant wants his largest possible deal, the Warriors aren't going to be able to use the Non-Bird Exception, they'll need actual cap room (but they should have it: the cap room Durant is currently occupying, plus the cap going up which will--for obvious reasons--cover the max contract also going up).
