This is a good read on how teams fit in players and order the signings to get them all to fit in the cap (or go over the cap for their own players) to be able to sign more people then you would think they could: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/front-office-insider--after-the-moratorium-142318657.html
So, where's the activity? Thought we'd see some action today now that contracts can actually be inked. No offers on any of our RFAs yet?
Mo Speights signs with the Clippers for the minimum. Nice to see Golden State not getting all the min. players. Apparently he spurned them because they couldn't guarantee as many minutes as he wanted. So: GState have lost: Barnes Bogut Ezeli Barbosa Speights Not going to do much for continuity. But I'm sure they'll manage.
We said the same thing about Lebron when he went back to Cleveland. GS will have no problem finding back ups.
They have Livingston, iguodola, west currently off the bench, I think Ian Clark as well, and will likely add a few more. With that big 4, they can easily stagger minutes. And how many 4th quarters will they need to play? No way they average 38 minutes
They have no big lineup left. I wonder how they're going to deal with that. Just trust the big 4 to open up such a big lead it doesn't matter?
Yeah there's no shortage of vets looking for a ring that have shown interest - David Lee, Chalmers. Even Ray Allen and Jermaine O'Neal, so long as they can use their motorized scooters at practice.
