    Tmz is reporting that Silva is one of the finalists even though DFW is at this time saying no. The brass is discussing if Silva is physically capable to professionally perform.

    I will give DFW the benefit of the doubt this time. Anderson just had surgery and I'm sure the UFC wanted him to be thoroughly checked and cleared by their doctors and the NSAC before committing to a replacement fight. It would have been a PR disaster if they said yes to Anderson and a few hours later had to pull him because he wasn't cleared.
