    Regarding him being renounced from the Whorriors before coming to Portland. The entire blazers lockerroom wants revenge after getting bounced in the second round, Ezeli included.

    I think he start for us just for the simple reason he is a rim protector. I believe the reason is low post scoring pct is low just not enough playing period. I believe if he stay healthy we good minutes that will pct will increase. He does have nice jump hook off the glass that looks good.

    OK i really really hate to be this person but most of you were wanting Olshey's head on a pike now a few days later you all love him. Can i please be the one to say the following -- make up your damn minds and TWO -- i told you wait til he is all done ( granted he still could do more ) but on FA front he is prolly done unless something crazy happens AND I TOLD YOU SO -- now the whiny fans can STFU

    I personally was upset about the fact that nobody wants us :sigh:

    Not necessarily upset at Olshey.... but we don't know all the facts. There could be a VERY good reason why his value is in the toilet. Hopefully his knees aren't shot.

    I pined here for Festus to be Portland's #1 FA target for months prior to this. Beyond stoked to land him on the cheap!

    btw, a buddy of mine here in the Bay Area is a Principle at a local Elementary School where Festus has shown up multiple times to read to the kiddies. Claims he's a great guy when the camera isn't rolling too. Very excited about what he's going to bring to the team & community! Prediction, besides adding a formidable rim protector to the team, IF he stays healthy he will be among the league leaders in dunks

    Nice! I was worried we'd have to give up too much to get him, but this is even less than I thought was remotely possible. Great opportunity for Ezeli to prove his worth and great opportunity for us to improve our team. I think we might have to let someone go because minutes are going to be scarce, but at least we have flexibility in choosing who to trade or let go when it suits us, provided we do in fact have the ability to retain all of our RFA's if we so choose. Good news to read as I got home today!
