Good Luck. I'd really like to see what you can do, but hope you get picked up in waivers.

Not sure how much potential he had, but definitely knew he was not ever going to be a threat from long range. Definitely too many PF's on this roster.

Not much of a market for Gary Trent-style PF's anymore...

He is not a PF he is a center. His standing reach is taller than every center on our team.
Is he still on the summer league team? Can resign him later?

If he goes unclaimed on waivers, the Blazers said he could still play. Since we used all our cap space, we have the room exception. It would probably only take the minimum though to get him.

If classified as a center, we still have little use for him. Plumlee, Ezeli, and Davis should take all the minutes at C. We have Meyers, Noah, Aminu, and Harkless at PF.

We never got a chance to see the best of Alexander. Here's to hoping he can sign somewhere in the league and show us what we missed out on.

    Thanks for the info.

Yeah we do have too many bigs already, but I would change your depth chart a little:

Harkless is all SF, especially with Crabbe leaving (I assume)

    Plumlee, Ezeli, Davis
    Aminu, Vonleh, Leonard (Davis)
    Turner, Harkless, Layman, Montero
    CJ, (Turner,) Pat C
    Dame, (CJ,) Napier

I couldn't find anything about renouncing Kaman. I assume it was done to make room for Turner.

One can only assume he was driving cross country and found a good hunting ground. Realizing he left his rifle at home he decided to take a 10 point buck on by hand. Legend says he is still eating the jerky to this day.

I think he will be converted to PF. In the D-League, the eyeball test showed that he couldn't out-reach other centers and forwards. The stats test showed a rebounding percentage of 14.5 and a block percentage of 6.4.

This saddens me a little, but it is possible we retain him if he clears waivers. He should probably go overseas for a little bit - undersized bigs can carve out real careers over there (see: Kyle Hines, Othello Hunter, Patric Young, Joey Dorsey for example)

According to Quick.....If Alexander clears waivers they have invited him to remain on the SL team. I'd like that.
Want to get more "eye-ball test" opportunities.

His contract became guaranteed on July 25th. Smart move by Portland
