Yep. And at this point I think it makes more sense to try to develop a shooter instead.

Neil pretty much made it clear that Alexander isn't coming back even if he clears waivers. Mentioned he hoped some other team would give him a chance.

There's just no minutes for him. We already have a young project in Vonleh.

How many people are going to scream for Cliff to be re-signed when he has some big games for us during summer league? :)

He'll be a cheap throw-in if we trade Crabbe after matching.

We have some dudes on some cheap contracts that could go with Crabbe on his larger contract. Crabbe would be good filler for a bigger name.

We only have room to sign him if Crabbe is gone. We were at 16 which is why we waived him. And if Crabbe leaves I think we still don't sign him and instead sign a shooter as insurance.

    So he can't be a cheap throw-in.

Montero was really impressive in his short dleague stint. Playmaker on both ends of the court. If he develops a consistent jumper, he will be an all star, no joke.

It's 15 because Cliff is not on it. If we want Cliff back, we need to make a trade.

Maybe not all star, but definitely a starter. He's got nba instincts you can't teach. He's like batum with a better handle.

I figured out why Sly keeps starting duplicate threads. Denny must have an agreement with the Blazers to start threads about personnel moves by quoting the official Blazer announcements in the first post, and capitalizing the thread title. Here's the thread that got killed by this thread.
