Why's that? They only have one center on the team and that's Robin Lopez and don't have the cap space to get an expensive one. They're obviously trying to contend next year so their draft pick isn't that valuable. Plumlee makes perfect sense for them.

What I like about Olshey's method is that he thinks outside the box when he makes a list of targets. The guy knows how to find hidden gems for value. He might just sign a D league player or someone who's playing in China

    2x #1s for Plums?

I like him, but I wouldn't offer one 1st for him if I were opposing teams.

They seem happy to run with Felicio and Taj at backup C.

Never a good idea. Not at this point. You either are a PG by now or are you are not. You can't teach someone to be a NBA PG if they have never been a PG. Was he when he was younger? If so....maybe.

I think Montero could be a 3 & D guy...eventually. He has range and is very long. I think he could guard the perimeter pretty well. But will need some playing time first.

Montero has a gift for ball handling and creating his shot. Quick release. Lot of rhythm to his game. Needs to limit turnovers but he's a real interesting young player.

I agree. And the best way to limit his turnovers is to put him in the game with other ball handler. Allow him to do what Crabbe did.

I'm a big fan of Pat and Luis. I would love to see us hold off on picking anyone up if we lose Crabb and let these guys get some real time in if they show well in summer league. We can pick Cliff back up if we need to. I guess.

SAC is getting way too much in that deal. There's no way Mclemore is worth a first or even plumlee. He's proven nothing so far. I like him because he's a project but that's exactly what he is..a project. Like harkless was.

Why would Chicago give a 1st+a player for someone that they just need for the bench and that probably will demand around 15M next summer. Doesn't make sense.

K send them a 2nd instead..I'm just saying send Plumlee to a 3rd team (SAC has a logjam at C already) and have them send something to SAC. We get McLemore.

    Crabbe replacements.

    Patty C/Montero.

    Harkless/Aminu.

If we sign everyone else, we dont really need to replace him. Dame and CJ should get much better looks this season with Turner Drives and Ezili in the Paint.
