Granted, this is Peter Vecsey, so this is either accurate or completely off, but we'll see. In an interview a while ago he did mention Chicago and Boston. If we got Pau Gasol, I'd be SO happy, but hey, that's pretty unrealistic. If all this is true, I'd put money that the Bulls get him.
I'd love to see Gasol in green, but I don't know if I'd be willing to purge our future to get Gasol. I think it'd likely need to invole Gerald or Al, and I'm not to keen on losing them. I doubt we'll get him anyways.
Nets shoud trade Carter and something for Gasol, that way the Grizz get what they want in cap space and we get a big man.
A deal involving the Nets will make the Nets championship contendors again and turn around their terrible season. Nets should pursue him.
The Nets wouldnt get him I dont think. If Gasol is looking to be traded, I would think that the Grizz would want to trade him for some young talent. Which is why I think that the Bulls would have a really good chance IF they wanted to trade Gordon or Deng....I personally think they should stick with the team that they have, but thats just me.As for the Celtics, I like the future that they have ahead of them. If they traded for Gasol, you know that they would want Big Al and Gerald, and I dont know if Boston is going to want to trade them.

I would love, and I mean LOVE to see gasol in Boston. he's probably the one guy I would want to see most, realistically. He's a 20/10/5 threat, an unselfish star that plays defense, the guy does it all, plays solid fundamental ball. I shouldn't get my hopes up.
They will probably trade him for a few nice pieces...They probably don't want another star in return because they are going for the Greg Oden/Kevin Durant sweepstakes...
No way I give up Gordon and Deng. I would hate to see anyone of them leave. If we trade Gordon we dont have a goto shooter.New York Post - Sources throughout the NBA tell Peter Vecsey that Pau Gasol has asked for a trade to a playoff contender and that the Grizzlies will attempt to oblige. I can say this Its a great chance hes gonna be a bull being this is the only team they named. But im 100% sure they will not get gordon and deng
I don't see us getting Pau. As it said, he wants a championship caliber team. Celtics aren't a championship caliber team YET. I think we may be in the future, but right now we are really focused on our younger players. I couldn't see the Bulls trading Gordan or Deng who has been playing pretty good right now. Nets seem to have a good fit with Pau in there system. Possibly trading Jefferson and MAYBE Kidd.

Second of all, it would be POINTLESS for New Jersey to trade Kidd for Gasol. And for everyone saying "they should trade Jefferson instead of Carter if he comes to New Jersey:" no. Like people stated, Carter is an expiring contract and that makes more sense, but what people didn't seem to mention was that Richard Jefferson is undergoing ankle surgery right now and he has not been himself all year long. Injuries have to be a concern there, plus the contract doesn't match up as well as Vince's would.
I'd like to see him go to NJ but since staying in the West would be better for the Pistons I'd love him go to a team in the West.
I can see the bulls trading Deng not gordon. Cause im sure paxson doesn't want Kirk being a SG when hes not. Also theres alot more SF's out there then SG'sI think Gordon will fit better when Gasol then Deng would. Plus we still got Noc to replace deng. I dont see duhon playing as good for us as gordon can
