What I see here is a few candyass fans who are getting all sentimental about rebuilding and giving kids a chance because of Hank. Well, tough shit if you don't win with Hank. That's life.

So many guys they could have signed for a year and they chose 5'5 Gerbe. Yea he plays hard but what the fuck. The team needs to get tougher, it got soft as fuck this offseason

While I wont bother responding to the name calling because the thought of you calling me, a guy I guarantee you have seen play on tv, a pussy, is laugh out loud funny, I will admit I was wrong in a way. It's not that playing two kids with no NHL experience is dumb. I definitely misspoke there. I should have clarified playing THOSE two kids makes no sense. Nieves game does not translate to a 4th line role. I've seen him play several times. He is not suited for that. Fogarty is a nice player and could grab a spot, but if both play 80 games for us we're done.

And it has nothing to do with me being against kids and not wanting to give them a chance. No idea what drugs you smoked to hallucinate that one. I wanted McIlrath in all last year. I beat Torts up for his Kreider treatment and AV his Miller treatment. I have Buch penciled into my top 9 next year. So you have me very very wrong in several ways buddy.

The reality is they aren't going to play those 2 unless they impress the hell out of the coaches in camp like Duclair did. As of how the 4th line will probably be Gerbe, Glass, Jensen, or Hrivik

Prod, you sound like Sather when he first got here. You are making insane statements about going with 2 players with no NHL experience. That's how all rookies break in. Lindberg, McIlrath and Skjei all had no NHL experience until last year. At times they were among the better players on the team. This is no longer a team that should be trying to win now. This team needs to take a major step back and rebuild for at least a year. Unless, somehow Gorton makes 2-3 unbelievable trades which it seems pretty obvious he can't do. The window as is, is closed. You are living in a world of make believe. I'd much rather spend all year seeing what McIlrath, Skjei, Hrvik, Fogarty, Nieves and Stromwall can do instead of the overpaid, lazy fucks we saw on the ice last year.

Fogarty probably could handle it right off the bat but Nieves is more of a work in progress who needs a little more development. And like Prodigy mentioned, he has top 9 ability in the long run.

The Pens won the Cup because they gave a couple of 23-24 year old guys play time, not comparing Fogarty/Nieves to Rust/Sheary but I don't see what the Rangers have to lose giving them a shot. I think the subtraction of the useless hump Dan Boyle from the roster immediately improves the team and while they'll miss Yandle's offense, his soft defense and team leading giveaways almost make things a wash. The biggest impediment to the Rangers success is the coach.

I can't talk sense to Prod any longer. He's lost his mind much like Chuck did and the dumb fuck idiots running this organization. Pissing away all our prospects and picks on moronic go for it all now trades. Same shit the dumb fuck organization did in the 80's and late 90's which led us into a decade of darkness. Not wanting to give prospects a chance.

What are you even talking about? Are you just looking for fights to pick? I am all about playing prospects..if they're actually NHL players, and if they are given the correct role to play. If you want to play Nieves on the fourth line full time just admit you are in full tank mode (something you used to kill the Pens for). Who is pissing away prospects? Play them, in the rolls they would actually succeed in.

Our 4th line was a major problem. It sucked. While other major fixes need to be made, the 4th line was a major problem. The team happens to have 3-4 major problems.
