...as a fan it's really hard for me to watch this franchise as they are now....very few bright spots. I gotta hope that somehow the management will realize their missteps of the past and learn from their mistakes and put a better product on the field next year, and going forward, make us proud once again.
Better news in AAA game between Rochester (Twins affiliate) & Scranton/Yankees. Yankees win down here 7-5. Hitting came from T Austin, Gamel, Solano, Kozma, & Sanchez. Judge again went hitless. Solano's defense was very shaky tonight. Again Yankee pitching is nothing to write home about............. not impressed at all. 3 pitchers gave up 16 hits. Tonight's Yankee game in Cleveland, from what I've been reading, looked like a minor league team vs. a major league team. Only Yankee management could endure such torture. I expected the Indians to scalp these underachievers into oblivion. The real scalping should be aimed at Hal, Hank & Brian. Oh yes, Lillie blast these idiots anytime. You are spot on!

Wow, such an illuminating revelation, it doesn't matter "if a pitcher can't hit his spots". What's next? A batter can't get a hit if the ball doesn't hit his bat? I thought I was referring to the pitch selection called by a veteran catcher who must've known he wasn't catching Greg Maddux as he continued to call for fastballs after the first two batters of the first inning hit homers and watched as the opposition finished with 4 runs on 3 HRs with all but one of the pitches being fastballs. Nobody said Green would've necessarily "hit his spots" with a couple of chosen breaking balls but we'll never know if the batters would've chased any of them......do we? Now have another shot on me. It's all good.
...lol...so in other words, you're trying to prove a negative...hilarious. ...one more time and try to keep up, "pitch selection" does not matter if the pitcher cannot hit his spots and locate the ball as intended. Green missed his spots by a good margin which is why he was pounded. He made a lot of mistakes and MLB batters destroy mistakes...accept it and move on and stop blaming the coach and the catcher for the pitchers mistakes. ...and please, just stop with "DiDi should be batting 2nd" crap...there's a very simple reason why Gardner bats 2nd instead of DiDi...if you'd stop being so myopic while cherry picking stats to support your narrative du jour, you might even be able to figure it out on your own.
