2 officers shot at Dallas Texas police protest

Waiting for cops to rush him? Waiting for the right moment while watching the news coverage on his smart phone? Trying to remember if the red wire goes in the blue hole or the green hole? Who the fuck knows what this guy was thinking. All we know is that he's not sane and very fucking evil. It's what the police didn't know about the situation is why they made that decision.

 

"I'm going to kill cops!"

"I'm going to kill white people!"

- check

"I'm going to blow up bombs!"

- Ahhhh, lets wait and see if he's serious about this. Who knows, he could be joking.

 

1. It took time to clear the immediate and surrounding areas from people trapped and for possible additional shooters.

2. It took time to bring the robot to the scene.

3. It took time to load and set up the explosives.

4. It took time to get the robot into position.

5. The mayor had to be told of the plan and give his ok.

6. Officers had to get into place to respond or storm the terrorist's position if the bomb failed to kill or injure him.

2 hours for all of this to happen doesn't seen unreasonable to me.

 

If Jesus didn't want the guy to die he should have had him surrender.

 

DALLAS — The gunman who killed five police officers in Dallas had enough bomb-making materials in his home to lead the authorities to believe he was planning a larger attack, the city’s police chief said on Sunday. He provided new details of how, during two hours of negotiations, the gunman sang, laughed and asked how many officers he had killed before he was killed by a bomb-equipped robot.

David O. Brown, the police chief, said evidence showed that Micah Johnson, 25, an African-American Army Reserve veteran who told the police that he wanted to kill white officers, had been practicing detonations and that the explosive material had the potential “to have devastating effects throughout our city and our North Texas area.”

“We’re convinced this suspect had other plans and thought that what he was doing was righteous,” Chief Brown said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Mayor Mike Rawlings of Dallas, in an interview near the shooting site, described Mr. Johnson as having employed tactics designed to cause as much harm to people as possible. “He was really well trained in becoming a killing machine, O.K.?” he said. “Shooting low, fighting hand-to-hand at that one point, going high, shooting down another street. This guy trained himself not for that exact location, but he knew how to elicit pain on people.”

How many did he need to set off? He had just killed 5 people, if he says he's going to kill more you wouldn't take him seriously?

 

I have no idea but I'm guessing they probably didn't tell him what was going to happen for fear he would set off the bombs he claimed to have.

 

The police, the article, nor myself is saying what they found in his house after they had killed him had any bearing on the decision to kill him.

 

It just popped up at the top of my google news feed. I found it interesting that he actually had explosive materials.
