I make that trade, and then I try to find the most private place within 2 minutes walking distance and rub one out as discreetly as possible.
If Hinkie where the GM we might have a chance with this deal. Unfortunately, the new regime seems to have more That would take CJ. No thanks.
He's working on the attitude, that's for sure. Oh, you mean as a player. Try "poor man's Enes Kanter". Which is why I'm worried that Olshey might actually be interested in him.
Also: he has free rein to undo everything Hinkie did, because Hinkie was pretty much tarred and feathered on his way out, despite laying the groundwork for an epic team down the road.

I think you're right; we need a guy who plays both ways and fits with our guys. What if Pelicans had a bad first half? Go for Anthony Davis? How much time has he missed over the years to injury? If he is healthy, how about Vonleh, Crabbe, Plumlee and draft picks?
He's very far off. Cousins is actually a very good defender when dialed in. Okafor is currently terrible. Enes Kanter has always been my comp for Okafor.
If he's healthy, the Blazers don't have the assets to get Davis. If Davis suffers a career-ending injury, then the Pelicans would consider Vonleh, Crabbe, Plumlee and draft picks.
Davis is going to get frustrated soon, though. He's been predicted as an MVP candidate the past couple of seasons, but the team keeps getting worse around him. He's the forgotten man: Towns probably has a higher national profile already. And I don't think Buddy Hield is going to help matters (although he might help pad Davis's offensive rebounding totals).
Well, he is semi-healthy; he plays about 60 games a year. What if we signed Harkless for about 10 million, added him and agreed to take back Asik's bad 4 year contract? If they weren't doing well, wouldn't they be tempted?
The only viable superstar target is Cousins. He shares a great relationship with Dame apparently, and has a contract that expires in two summers. And it's pretty much written in stone that he will gtfo. If SAC wants any value for him, they need to move him this upcoming season. I like that we're stock piling assets to throw at Vivek and Vlade at the deadline.
Those four young, but experienced guys would probably all be starters on their team plus they would have a couple draft picks.
