    He's not kinda clutch, he's Connaugh-clutch.

Amazing what a few extra days of practice can do for these teams that are just thrown together.

Layman had the worst +/- with -9, but he did have 4 steals on 0 TOs and 5-10 shooting.

I thought he looked pretty good. Nice post up shot on the baseline.

Vonleh with the good clutch D, Layman with consistent play on both sides of the court, and Pat maybe starting to get in a good rhythm. This team looked a whole lot better than the previous two games. Hopefully that continues for the next couple games as well. Nothing more sleep-inducing than a summer league game gone bad.

CJ Fair, 6'8" tweener from Syracuse, class of 2014. Been languishing in the D-League the past couple years, but he played pretty well today. Lots of energy.

Russdiculous sent packing and the team immediately starts looking like a TEAM. Imagine that...

Most of the players did some nice things today. I thought Napier ran the team very well before he got hurt. Montero played under control and showed some solid D.

Layman looks like he can be a solid bench player in a couple of years.

Vonleh looked hurt to me. Like he pulled something or had a deep thigh bruise. He looked like he was in pain. But he was tough on the boards, played good D, and showed a nice little running hook. Too careless with the ball though, which should be easy to fix.

    Summary:
After losing the tap, we didn't allow Utah to get a shot off in the 2nd OT.
Also, we hit every shot in the double OT, and we only took 3-pointers!

I think Pat needs to be in more of a system. The freelance style of summer league doesn't work well for system type players and bigs

    I'm glad he's no longer Connaugh-clank.

Agree with all of this. Vonleh was noticeably limping.

Don't forget Fair! Be fair to Fair.

I have to admit. I am pulling for Pat. I've been reading a lot about him and watching him in interviews. Seems like a hardworking kid who really comes from a sold background. Dad's a carpenter who flips houses. I honently think he wants to play for the love of the game and he's very diligent about it. I'm pulling for him.
