    It certainly did not occur to me that anyone would seriously think e_blazer is dead!

    Come to think of it, every meal is a memorial in a sense. Except water and salt, everything we eat was once part of a living plant, animal, or fungus or derived from them. Well, not Hostess Twinkies but I don't serve them.

    That fourth peach shortcake is still up for grabs. I invited a friend but she said there are national Bernie Sanders rallies that day??? WTF? I asked her if I should go to a rally for Eugene McCarthy?

    The Official e_blazer Barbecue Menu

    We are not barbecuing e_blazer or Blazer Caravan. (I could put in a bad joke about not eating men...)

    We are having:
    Herbed Garbanzos
    Very local salad garnished with very local plums
    Whole wheat pita (I'm going to try grilling them)
    Marinated slow grilled leg of lamb with yogurt mint sauce
    Very local snap peas with garlic and very local mint
    Persian rice
    Very local peaches and cream shortcakes
    Shiraz with meal, Forte Amador with dessert

    Hmmmm. Made a point to say e_blazer and Blazer Caravan weren't on the menu but no mention of @VanillaGorilla?

    I would stay away from this 'barbecue' if I were you VG. If we get an announcement about a 'secret dish that will be prepared and served the day of the barbecue' and then don't hear from VG after we'll know why.

    Good thing we don't eat dogs in this country, right @SlyPokerDog?

    I'd love to see what the menu items looked like, but I get a message saying that I don't have permission to view the gallery. Seems wrong given that I inspired the festivities.
