Only jersey I bought was a Roy jersey.

At the time, it was either Roy or Aldridge as the first jersey I ever bought... I still don't know how I feel about it. But I was in my mid 20's... I can kind of understand why people buy the jerseys'. Whether superstitious or maybe a connection of some sort (their play at a certain time helped them through a difficult time, or what not)... Some people just like them, I suppose.

If I were ever to buy a Blazers jersey, I'd go with Lucas, I think

In my adult life I never bought a Jersey. I was given a Lamarcus Aldridge #12 as a Christmas present. I was 38 when he decided to leave. Too much of a grown ass man to don another jersey. I mean, what the fuck? Am I supposed to go purchase the jersey of a 25 year old kid? I love Dame but hell no! So when the Texas turncoat left, he took me out of the Jersey game forever.

    I'd probably wear a Drazen #44.

I hate that people don't just donate them to homeless shelters or whatever.

I saw some cheap Blazers jerseys on a Wal-mart clearance rack several years ago. Spent $6 total on an Aldridge and Oden jersey. Gave the Oden to my brother, and kept LA. Was going to Goodwill it when he left, but my daughter wanted it, so now she uses it as a nightshirt. Only jersey I've ever owned.

I wouldn't piss on a LaMarCooch jersey if it was on fire. Or LaMarCooch, for that matter.

The only jersey I own is a Zach Randolph jersey I bought for cheap on clearance when he was persona non grata around these parts. And then I only got it because I wanted something to wear to play ball (and it was cheap). Now, it's kind of retro.

I still have my red #12.... Burning it would be silly. I don't even want to exude that much negative energy. Nor will I ever get the time back that I'll waste.

When I was a kid jerseys were very popular so I have a crate of them. I never wear them though. I just feel goofy putting on a jersey at my age.

The only thing I bought of LA is bobble head doll out of thrift store so every time I go buy it I can slap his head to make it bobble.

About 10 years ago (right around when I first got started on the boards and bought my season tickets) I was seriously considering a Hardwood Legends Walton. Never got around to it, and then thought I was too old for the Jersey Game. Now I'm waiting for that Blazers cardigan to come (back?) around.

I think the people who burn jerseys have a serious case of hero worship, and they feel rejected/abandoned by their hero. It's a way of lashing out and probably a little cathartic.
