I thought he is a free agent and didn't hear he signed with anyone.
Bring him back, yes or no?

We have absolutely no need or spot for him.

    There's a reason he hasn't been signed.

    There's a reason you're not a gm.

I see three guys with little to no outside or medium range shot at all. Festus might have the best mid range of Plums Trob and himself.

Thas ugly. Sorry. Rather have VOnleh in that spot. Rather have Aminu in that spot. Rather have Davis in that spot...not for better shooting, but better decision making.

With TRob you get more explosiveness, better rebounding, more points in the paint, better defense afainst opposing bigs...

How do you figure we get better rebounding and points in the paint?

Ed davis...7.4 rebounds and 6.5 pts in 20.8 minutes last year

TROB...5.1 rebounds and 4.3 pts in 12.9 minutes a game.

    Almost a wash.

But here is what you are missing.

Ed Davis .8 T/O per game in 20.8 minutes per.

TROB 1.0 T/O per game in 12.9 minutes per.

Sorry. Trob and his Blockhead has no place on this team full of intelligent players. And I say that, loving certain aspects of his game. If Meyers had his drive and effort he would become an all star. But the NBA doesn't forgive continual boneheads decisions like Trob is prone to do.

I'm going to borrow an NFL scouting term, "million dollar body and a ten cent brain."

There are too many players in the front court right now to bring T-Rob back. Maybe if the blazers do a consolidation trade T-Rob maybe could come back.

Sure lets get rid of better players than Trob so we can bring him back. :)

So lets revert back to two years ago when we had a stellar lineup and no bench (Trob was part of the bench). Sorry. Still not a viable option if we are looking at becoming a better team, consolidation trade or not.

Opposite of Stephen Hawking. The body works great, the brain not so much.

I liked him when he was here, but I don't think he adds enough to warrant losing one of our existing front court players to make room for him.

He'd almost certainly be end of the bench here, which seems to be the role he's earned in the NBA.

If Neil signed him, it would not be a horrible move.

Also, he may seem unintelligent but he plays smart on defense, he's a very good rebounder and on offense he's a better inside threat than probably anyone we have. It isn't NASA, we're looking for basketball players

Ed Davis is a far better player than TRob at this point. But these threads from you are par for the course I suppose....

Ed Davis is better too. The two players are pretty equivalent defensively and on the boards, but Davis is a much better pick-and-roll finisher. Robinson is really poor offensively.

Trob sucks. He thinks he's a star and blames everyone else for holding him back. If he would just accept who he is(junkyard dog) he could maybe develop into something, but he needs to grow up first.

Which of these teams would you prefer he sign with?

Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans and San Antonio Spurs.

How can you still think this after I posted his stats for you compared to Davis? Are you blind to reality?

    Losing Cred, IMO...
