2 officers shot at Dallas Texas police protest

"We promised the Erics of the world that we won't stop until they change things," Sharpton said. "It may take longer than we want but we've got to get there. There's no better place to go."

Sharpton said numerous protests create a climate for change and provide participants a sense of sanity amid rising gun-related violence. He also deplored the killing of police officers in Dallas last week.

"Don't paint us as anti-cop. We are not anti-police. We're anti-wrong," he said.

Later, Sharpton led a march of over 100 people through Brooklyn. At intervals, they chanted "RIP Eric Garner," ''No justice, no peace" and "I can't breathe."

 

See the Sharpton post above. To say BLM is inciting anyone to kill cops is false. People are killing cops because they're deranged and the senseless killing of black people by cops set them off.

Not one has said BLM urged them to do it.

And there's nothing to do with BLM that urges violence.

TRAHERN CREWS: No, not at all. And I want to put that chant in context. We had a great demonstration that day. It was very exciting. It was so exciting that I think the police who were along escorting the marchers wanted to be a part of the march or a part of the demonstration. So on the way back, the officer leading the parade kept talking into his microphone and saying things to the crowd, like, stay off the medium [sic], do that, he was laughing and joking with the marchers, so then the marchers kind of started chanting that towards him. It was more playful than anything. So --

HAYES: So that was -- you're saying, that was in a playful context, that chant?

CREWS: Exact-- at that particular demonstration, yes. That was. Because, and the officer was laughing and joking along with the protesters.

HAYES: People --

CREWS: And, and, and he, and the officer also said, when they started chanting, he said back into the microphone, everybody loves bacon.

 

Right wing WWW site says Micah Johnson, the Dallas killer, was a deranged man, not inspired by BLM. Unusual for it not trying to make BLM out to be encouraging the killing of cops.

The only other cops shot recently were by a gunman who was later found to be a conspiracy kook. Nothing to do with BLM.

Johnson, like Charleston murderer Dylann Roof and Orlando terrorist Omar Mateen, was a screwed-up weirdo with a ton of anger who went looking for a cause to support his desire to kill.

 

The cop in the interview, like you, weren't there.

Nobody denied they did the chant.

It was still in fun. They conveniently didn't show the cop yelling into his bullhorn or microphone, "everybody loves bacon!"

 

Ironic that the "pigs in a blanket" thing happened in Minnesota where the cops recently retaliated and shot a black man in his car after pulling him over for a broken tail light.

 

He wasn't there either.

So what?

I say "fry heinous murderers." BLM wants the murderers put on trial, and they want it to be fair trials.
