Check out his last 3 games:19 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 6 steals22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists28 points (career high), 9 rebounds, 2 assistsAnd his numbers for the year are 14.7 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 3 apg, and 1.27 spgIf he keeps this up to a degree, then he's got this award in the bag. Really. Who else is even a serious candidate?I love Brandon's game. He does so many different things on the floor. He is quick, he can drive, shoot, play defense, and he can even play a bit of pg. He has good court vision. He is a complete package, and he will be a great overall player when he hits his prime...
I picked Brandon Roy to win the Rookie of the Year before the season started and a few of you guys called me crazy, I am sticking with my prediction. Roy is a great all around talent, he can get to the basket and hit the mid range jumper. Did anybody happen to see his monster game against Milwaukee yesterday? He had 28 points (10-15 shooting) and 9 rebounds. The kid is a complete monster and he is going to be the best player from the 2006 draft class.
I picked Randy Foye, what's he doing?Roy will probably win it, seeing how he's carried the Blazers. Kinda like what CP3 did.

He'll never be a superstar, but he does everything well. He can shoot, drive, rebound, play 3 positions, runs the floor, solid playmaker with good vision, he's athletic, he plays defense, he's a good ballhandler, he works hard, etc. He has every asset. I really like the young players Portland has picked up: Roy, Jack, Aldridge, Webster, Rodriguez, etc. They have a solid future ahead of them.

I've only seen the Wolves play a few times this year, so I couldn't break everything down for you, but I'm happy he's getting real minutes lately. The kid is going to be a good player.

Brandon Roy was as safe a pick as anyone...we knew he'd get lots of minutes... He was right there with Morrison and Foye with ROY predictions. I have yet to watch him play so I will withhold judgement.

I think that I predicted either Morrisson or Roy to win it it in the beginning of the year. I knew that both of them were going to get good playing time, and both of these players seemed to be NBA ready to me. I am not really surprised by what Roy is doing. He has a great all around game and he has shown it so far this year. I dont think that anyone else is really in the running at this point. Morrisson will get second obviously and after that its up in the air to me...
I thought Roy might win it this year. He has been my favorite rookie to watch all year. He can just do about anything out there. I think he will prolly end up running away with the ROY award. Foye might stay close tho because he has been playing very good lately.
The Blazers are really playing him, im surprised he hasnt got tired yet, hes racked a couple million 35 + minute games this season. However I think he is a good contender, but Im going to wait and see how he fares near the end of the season.
I think its either going to be Roy or Morrison..preferabbly Roy. Juding by those numbers, Roy should get it.
Not surprising to me since I also picked him for ROY this year. He has been playing great and has really stepped up to be an on-court leader for the Blazers. His future is bright and if he continues to develop as much as he has this year for years to come, we could be talking about a superstar in the making.

Yeah Morrison takes ridiculous shots sometimes. If you look at his numbers from some games, it will be like 12 points and 0's for everything else. Bargnani probably will come close, but I think Morrison has more fans.
