Lone Ranger here.....I'd give him a few starts here and there and see if he can run into a couple of pitches....this fukn team needs some long balls, dead last in SLG% A.L.
They aren't going to continue getting this excellent SP of late.

At this point he's only going to get a shot when they give Beltran a day off. I don't think they want Beltran in RF right now. Otherwise even with this struggles you would rather have Arod in the lineup over Hicks.

Unless there's some offensive help or others heat up there's likely not reason to buy into it again. This lineup is downright awful.

Hicks does improve the D in RF and Beltran imo has very limited range out there.....too bad Hicks just isn't doing it with the stick.
This guy made excellent strides last year offensively getting his most ABs 352 to that point in a single season and maybe perhaps just maybe he can begin to show some life if they play him more as Beltran DHs.

I know Cashman isn't adored lmao, but I'm with him on Hicks, kinda annoyed, disappointed and a bit surprised he's been a ".200 hitter".

Lol, not saying he was going to turn the corner and become an Allstar but shit, a .200 hitter?

I hear you Vic, I know they faced a good pitcher, but these Idiots refuse to work the pitch count day in and day out. Pathetic.

...Hicks' defense is not worth the trade off for his offensive suckage.

So either they bench him and play Beltran in RF, release him, (or send HIM down?) and then call up one of their AAA outfielders three of which have been doing well down there.
I've no problem with any of the latter choices.
