Doctors and NBC told us there was nothing really you can do to prep for your trip down there health wise. Telling us only to drink water from bottles we get at the TV compound or our hotel......not to drink the water from the shower. Looks like I'll be brushing my teeth with bottled water.
Also don't bring $1000 worth of sneakers with you like you do on Blazer road trips. That shit will get stolen out of your luggage at the airport, out of your room by the maids, off your feet by robbers. Leave the expensive sneakers at home.
Did NBC tell you that if you have to double take its probably a guy too? Oh wait, you've been to Miami right? You may already know the drill.
Take quinine tablets with you...or drink tonic water loaded with the stuff while you're there..in my travels that's the go to move for keeping the blood parasite free and the sickness at bay...I was told by doctors overseas that if you're wanting to boost the immune system when there are danger flags...avoid alcohol and red meat while there....Sly's right about the expensive shoes...also sunglasses and watches, phones, etc..and whatever you do...avoid that robot dance move at all costs
Dude, we wear the same shoe size, if something happens to you in Rio I get all of your shoes. That's why we don't want you taking any of your nice ones with you.
I'm happy for you that enough people turned down the opportunity so you could go. Kidding. Have a great time, and stay safe
If you go to the beach, don't put your head underwater, or touch the sand for that matter: http://www.foxnews.com/health/2016/08/01/expert-to-rio-athletes-dont-put-your-head-under-water.html
All packed and ready to roll. Have to make a stop at Target for some allergy medicine and maybe some rubbers (they said they help keep the mosquitos away). Fly out tomorrow at noon if anybody wants to see me off at PDX!
