Yanks aren't going to trade those five players for Sale.
The sportswriters aren't pulling the strings.
Maybe those "several GMs" are annoyed at the Yanks because they're unable to rip them off like they tried at last year's deadline for Severino, Mateo and Bird in exchange for a two month rental? Maybe?

Speaking of the WhiteSox, could Todd Frazier be available?
Maybe the Yanks are trying to collect the best "Fraziers" in MLB? lol

"Buster Olney tweeted that the Houston Astros, Red Sox, Rangers and Indians are all talking to the New York Yankees about Beltran. He's best suited for DH duties, but the Red Sox and Indians would be acquiring him to play the outfield. The Yankees say they're not waving a white flag, but it makes sense to flip Beltran with so much interest in him and New York is now back to .500 after losing four in a row."

Context needed: the Braves generate a lot of ideas. And given that catching ATL need moving forward, they have asked NYY about Brian McCann.

    ...unreal, isn't it?

...lemme see, they traded away two of the very best relievers in the game for prospects who cannot help the team this year but that's not "waving the white flag"?...uhhh, OK.

The wish of any Yankee Fans: White Flag my ass, this team was not going to win last place in a lizard screw. Trade or release what you have, get back some good stuff and give the franchise and fans a future to look forward to.

I'm really going to miss Andrew Miller & Carlos Beltran. Good luck to both of them......I 'lbe rooting for these men.
As expected, Ivan Nova was going to be traded, and no surprise, he did not bring back much.....PTBNL!

...would not be surprised if the Yanx resigned Chapman during the off season.

Overall great haul so far giving yanks by most scouts now the top farm system in baseball. And even though non waiver deals are done I think we could see some more of these guys go before august 31.

^^^^^Yep. Their time is just about up........watching their continued frustration at the plate is getting
old. Besides, Gardy 's no gazelle in the OF, nor on the bases. Love McCann's attitude, but he's aged
    quickly.

In this year of no playoffs, accountability comes to the forefront as something this team could not
    demonstrate.
