The Night Of - HBO 2 episodes in, really good. One of the writers is from The Wire. Stranger Things - Netflix 3 episodes in, also really good. Creepy, kind of a 1980s throwback.
People in hot fucking humid Texas. God I hate summers here/ I like me some Ray Donovan, Roadies and the new Match Game isn't as good as the original, but still good.
Has there been a Netflix original show that didn't get a second season? I've read multiple times that they pretty much just give two season contracts from the start.
Nope, ask me in 5-6 years if it is good. Just finished season 5 of Game of Thrones tonight. Bluray with Atmos..... Damn it is awesome. My quandary is do I buy season 6 on Amazon Instant or wait until November for the bluray set?????????? Decisions. I think I'll buy one episode and see if the quality is close. What is this new show about?
Ive watched the last 2 minutes of the last two weeks episodes waiting until its over so ballers starts.
After a night of partying with a female stranger, a man wakes up to find her stabbed to death and is charged with her murder. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2401256/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_2
You guys pay to have HBO and cable or satellite? U rich? I think I saw a preview of that show, sounds good.
Not really. I negotiate it into my comcast deals. Comcast usually just gives it to me when i use frontier against them.
I think I read that from you before. Smart if you are gonna keep pay tv. We cut the cord 2 years ago and the 3 grand we've saved makes me feel ok buying a few seasons of really good shows every now and then.
Kudos to you. They basically give me cable and hbo. Internet would have been $60/month and frontier false advertises and wants to charge $60/month even though they send me $35/month flyers every month. So for an extra $20/month not including the $10/month in taxes, they gave me cable with hbo price locked for 2 years. Couldnt resist.
That's not bad. We have cox for internet, I hate cable for tv so we had Dish or Direct for years. We kept the internet and have Netflix and had Amazon prime before I even knew it had free tv stuff.
