Well let me say first off Tony Parker is an up and coming star in the Nba and soon I think he will be one of the top 3 point guards in the Nba. Now saying that he is more of a scorer than a passer but his ability to get to the basket creates a lot of open shots for his teammates. He is averaging 19 points per game and close to 6 assists. When he has his really good games it's when he beats his defender every time to the basket and finishes, he is one of the best at finishing in my opinion. Sometimes though it seems Tony is too passive and unselfish. In his last two games he has had 8 assists and 6 assists which is good but he only had 8 and 15 points in those games. He could easily be averaging over 20 if he would just have a more consistent jumpshot as well as using his amazing quickness more often to get to the basket and draw fouls. With all of that said Tony is still developing his game and will be a star in the future
His inconsistent jumpshot is definitely what is holding him back from being a 20+ a night scorer. He is so amazing at getting to the basket that it sometimes puts me in awe. For somebody who is only 6 foot 3, he makes it so difficult for people to block his shots. If the Spurs are going to want to make a Championship run this season, Tony is going to have to have a killer playoffs. And I agree with you, Tony is for sure going to be a top 3 PG in a few seasons.
