    I would argue that Whiteside is absolutely much more all-star caliber than Turner is.

    However, I agree with everything else you said.

    Older, injury prone allstars vs up and coming young talents that may well be allstars when DHoward is playing for the vet's minimum down the road...it's about the future and the fit...not entitled divas that cost so much you gut the bench to sign them. Lisa Leslie was talking during the Olympic women's exhibition game about how the stars on the team were unselfishly getting 12 pts a game instead of 25...the opposition only had a couple of players capable of scoring 25 and they needed to...we didn't...I think the Blazers are like this...unselfish, share the love and get 7-8 players in double digits every night.
