...I know it may be just a pipe dream and I know they have a long way to go, but how cool would it be if the Yanx somehow made the PS led by the youngsters starting in place of the older guys and the ones who are not producing?
Starting nine would be fine, Joe has some options off of the bench, defense has improved, starting and pitching need help, but maybe these kids can mash their way up, we saw Cleveland do it in the late nineties. Saw the Austin and Judge post game video, those kids have a great attitude and seem to know from the get go what Yankee Fans want. My hope is they just win every game possible and let the chis fall. We've heard much about how lethargic the fans are at the new Yankee Stadium, well there wasn't much to cheer for. Same shit different day. Not so now, the newbies are going to see fan involvement increase commensurate with the teams play. As the old song from the Thirties went "Happy Days Are Here Again"
Tough task and would have to take care of Toronto for once this week. It's pretty amazing that they're within striking distance at this point.
Need to get tex to follow the a-rod "retirement plan" and go home now so austin can play every day there.
it would be fascinating to say the least. Rookie's in PS can be very effective, ie lack of scouting reports, to: scouting reports aren't always thorough; while Rookies often thrive, or not.....either way, It'd be a sight for sour eyes...
