Yeah. I bet his dad isn't the happiest person on the planet right now. He just wishes his son could be more famous than Eric Milligan.

Had an acquaintance who worked with Rodney Dangerfield. She said Rodney would roll up a joint in any airport terminal and puff away. When she asked if he was worried about being arrested, he said no, because, "who in the hell is going to arrest Rodney Dangerfield?!"

Comedians come and go but he's one I truly miss.

    Jail blazers reunite!

Id take the war on drugs more serious if doctors and business men were arrested for cocain more often.

For all you saying it's stupid, or shouldn't be a crime, does that mean I can go 75 in a 55 and shouldn't get a ticket? The speed limit is stupid. Still the law though

You guys beat me too it.

Doesn't mean that. I buy in bulk and freeze most so I keep my costs lower.

    How does that equate?

    Apples to oranges

Your increased risk of an accident at 75 vs 55 is substantial depending on the traffic, time of day, etc. Smoking a joint vs not, is not the same type of risk to others OR yourself. Smoking two joints instead of one a day does not increase the chances or risk of something happening to you or others.

Come on. Use logic when debating. :) or at least something with validity that makes sense. :)

Why are you adding the "depending on the traffic, time of day etc..." to one argument but not the other?

Smoking a joint or two while operating heavy machinery could be just as dangerous or worse than driving 75 depending on conditions.

I think what MM is trying to say is that the way you declare some laws more important than others - is by voting to change the ones that do not make sense. Until this vote happens - choosing arbitrarily what law to obey and what not can get very murky very quickly...

But As far as I know, No state has said its legal to operate machinery, so I didn't bring it up. The moment it is legal like smoking cigs, then there is a bigger problem. Until then the law says you must smoke in private. Hence, the working heavy machinery is illegal.

Because no matter the variable, smoking pot is only legal in private. Hence it doesn't have variables that may affect others like driving fast than what is deemed safe.

Now I didn't get it, but if MM meant, why does a state legislate one way when the federal government can overrule and legislate the opposite... well that's worth another topic of discussion all together.

While true, more people probably die due to speeding in a month, then marijuana in 30 years.

If you smoke enough pot....you'll prefer driving 55 to 75 if you do it while driving
