Saw another side car article where Dombrowski was asked if he'd consider a Papelbon return to Boston. Crazy shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...from what I read was that Paps actually asked to be released from his contract...how fucking dumb is that?
Did see that, was trying to find comments Scherzer made about that action but had to do the squeeze a favor so I dropped the ball on it. Probably have comments on Quick Pitch tomorrow AM.
^^^lol..no, I had to re-google them...but I knew they were out there...I remember them from the old rspn days.
Just saw an ESPN Article stating that John Lester has endorsed Papelbon coming to the Cubs if that team shows interest. They have Chapman what the hell else do they need.
Papsmear...!! ah, yeah I recall those pics, gave Yanx fans fodder to despise the fker papsmear..... I'd wager Papsmear's gonna' have a hard time getting a job, even with RP's in dire need around the league....
LOL.... not even as an afterthought.... With Severino going back n forth this year, he's almost got as may "Free Fare Mileage Points" as Crapuano did last year. IMO, Seve needs to know he's got a roster spot in the Bronx, at least 'til years end. Seve in the pen??? maybe??? tho' I'd rather see Seve as a SP, I'd not hesitate to put him in the BP, IF Trashman has the tiniest inkling of obtaining Papsmear....that would be grounds for a riot, that would make the Boston Tea Party look like a red coat prayer 'kumbaya' vigil, as Papsmear is thrown in the Hudson.... http://bronxpinstripes.com/news-rumors/yankees-option-luis-severino-recall-chad-green/
seem's there was a plan part deux, too....? I think the Accountant done forgot which revision of "the plan" Hal & his gopher are on, ntm- since neither have played with a full deck from day one, they too forget what rev they're on or s/b on...? At this point going forth, herein layeth: "The Plan" - Part XXX aka - 'Infinity and Beyond' Part I of a continuing soggy saga, new chapter, new book, new players, same Owners, GM and Brass.... to be continued later....
My laptop died at 5:05 PM today EST. Anyone have any suggestions as to the best laptop in terms of battery life, DVD & CD drives, and adding WORD for my writing. I am not very knowledgeable on laptops. Thanks in advance. Oh M G .........Please stay away from that poison prick! From a business point of view, this is a no brainier!
...I prefer Macs myself...the build quality is second to none, the mouse/track pad is great, the operating system is more stable and they are essentially trouble free, (no drivers to down load, not a bunch of ongoing updates) and though they cost more new, they are worth more used. You can get a very good 2 year old Macbook Pro which is what I have for $400-$500. ...if you use the Chrome browser you might also want to look at Chromebooks...VERY reasonable. http://www.cnet.com/topics/laptops/best-laptops/ ...I'm sure that Tote will weigh in on this because he disagrees with me on this subject...lol.
your statement regarding macs was basically accurate up until around 2014/15. new windows architecture finally did what apple did many years ago....full redesign. macs do have updates and downloads all the time Ron, you just dont have a choice about it like in windows systems. hardware is good, but apple doesnt corner the market on quality anymore. Some really good Lenova models as well as Japanese/Korean made laptops. i like your latter suggestion, chromebook or surface tablet w/ keyboard. Media Drives in laptops are features that are going the way of the do-do bird. If you need a media drive for files, I suggest use a portable/external drive and start converting your files to the cloud. Chromebook can your about any software now that MS Office has been reduced to Android Apps. For a little more power, the Microsoft Surface is considered the best all around solution. I'm not a fan of 2nd hand or refurbished computers because they are a constant security risk. Check out CNET for reviews like this: http://www.cnet.com/topics/laptops/best-laptops/touchscreen-hybrid-laptops/
...hmmm, only up until 2015?....CNET, which you referenced also says this; http://www.cnet.com/topics/laptops/best-laptops/ ...but no matter how you slice it, whatever is best for each individual is ultimately up to them. ...just so my meaning won't be misconstrued, what I'm saying Tote, is that as far as computer preferences, not everyone needs the ability to do spread sheets, not everyone plays video games, not everyone uses the laptop for work and so people's requirements vary depending on their individual needs and daily use. ...for me, it was about reliability and simplicity and I prefer the OSX operating system and a Macbook laptop...but that's where Apple and I part ways because where cell phones are concerned, even though I've tried the Iphone and I didn't care for the IOS operating system...and I went back to my Samsung Galaxy and the Android format...like I said, everyone has their own preferences for their own needs.
