<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>You don't pass on a once in decade center...look at the impact they have had (Ewing, Olajuwon, Shaq, Robinson, Duncan...).</div>Exactly Oden could have a HUGE impact in the NBA. There is no way you can pass him up.

I really dont think Oden will go any lower than #1. It is not very often that you find a center with his body frame, and defensive ability. He is also a VERY offensivley efficent. I love Durant, and I think that he will be a very similar scorer to T-Mac, but no team is going to pass up on a player like Oden. Centers are just too hard to come by these days. Although I think Durant is the more talented player, Oden is just too unique.

It's possible. Depends on who's drafting him. I'd love durant SO MUCH on the Suns. I'd buy a jersey fo real.

I'm sorry but what team in the NBA would pass up on Greg Oden? I don't think it matters a damn bit if you have a good center or not...no team has a good enough PF/C combo locked up to pass on him. Nobody.

Oden is still #1...he's going to be special and dominant...even if he doesn't score 20+ PPG...which he will with two hands..nobody will score against that team and if they do it will be pure luck :lol:but yeah Oden doesn't need to score 20+ PPG because he will have such an impact on the other team..he will spread out the defense and he will force other teams to take outside shots instead of being able to driveDurant is more talened and will be the better offensive player but cmon...how can you pass up on Oden?People have been talking about him since his freshman year of high school...enough said

Yeah, I guess you gotta go Oden here. It's not that often you get a guy who SHOULD be a great center for the next 10 years.

I'd take Oden in a heartbeat over Durant. Oden impacts every game he plays in even if he isn't performing on offense. He doesn't demand the ball, and shoots an unprecedented percentage from the field. I think Durant will be a star, but Oden is more valuable to a team.

You very well could have a redo of the 1983 draft where Hakeem went first and then Jordan(after the #2 bust pick of course). You have to pick Oden...but guys, the NBA is moving back into that fast paced, running style game that Durant would flourish in...I think Oden will go #1...but don't be surprised if Durant IS the better player when all is said and done.

Defense wins you championships in the NFL, bigmen win you championships in the NBA. There are so many good wing players in the NBA that will put up 25ppg...but bigs are more valuable. Durant is a better prospect than Carmelo Anthony but Carmelo is not going to win a championship without a solid bigman... People are forgetting how 'raw' Oden is coming from HS. He still has so much to learn...
