Some rumblings about it today..may as well do it now since he's essentially a lock to sign here next year.

Makes no sense for the Blues unless Klein was going back the other way. That being said, while I don't look at +/- as being this really important stat, sometimes it does say something. If you look at the Blues plus-minus players during the season, they were either a plus or close to even. Shattenkirk was a -14 which was -10 worse than any starter. In the playoffs he was a team worse -8. He plus-minus in the regular season and playoffs in previous years was decent. I'm not exactly sure what the heck happened to his defense last year. Perhaps trade rumors and not getting the money he wanted was on his mind. His numbers are not all that different than Yandle who I was not all that impressed with. I'd much rather they trade for Dumba if they could.

This is still a hot rumor......I actually like this move if only because we know what kind of player Nash is come playoff time and I have always been a big Nash guy.

Haven't heard or seen that rumor anywhere. Like I said. It makes no sense for the Blues.

It's not just because I'm a Devils fan but I honestly don't see a team taking that Nash contract unless you sweeten the deal. Just makes no sense

It is because you're a Devils fan. Spare us. Last four years Nash had. First being a half season

    44 games 21 G 21 A
    65 games 26 G 13 A
    79 games 42 G 27 A
    60 games 15 G 21 A

Factor in the shortened season. He scored 40 goals once. Was on pace for 40 goals a second time. Had 26 goals in 65 games which is pretty good. He had one bad season. He's also one of the best defensive forwards in hockey. To show you how dumb you are on Nash, they've already had multiple offers on Nash. So to say nobody wants him is beyond dumb. IMO, they are just waiting to see if they can sign Vesey. Nash has 2 years on his contract. That's nothing compared to the idiotic money the rest of the tools in the NHL gave half ass players in UFA that aren't as good as Nash.

If they have had multiple offers on Nash already but haven't pulled the trigger because some college ufa might maybe sign with them and who knows how he will even pan out? Damn then your organization really needs to get its priorities in order lol.

Hey bad contracts and players are moved all the time so there's always a chance. I would just be amazed if a gm would come offering anything significant for him. You have to realize that is a huuuuuge contract and a team just trading for it would be doing the Rangers a huge favor in the cap relief. Then you want a player on top of it?
As Marco from taken said "good luck"

Yet the moron still posts here. Go and look at all the contracts handed out to inferior players compared to Nash and free agency. Look at the years and money. Spare us. Nash is easily tradeable. GM's always want good players for nothing. They also always overrate their teams in the off-season. It takes a few games before they realize their teams suck. Gorton already has Girgensons on the table from several reports I heard. He's seeing how Vesey plays out first. Go away. Nobody wants your Devils dumbass here.

Thing is those contracts handed out is just money. Now you want them to hand out 8 million dollars (by trading for Nash) and add in a player or two? That's a little different. But hey we will see!

I don't talk to scumbag Devils fans who make up bullshit about the Rangers players with no facts to back it up because their team sucks moose dong and will for another 5 years. Devils fans are the dumbest fucks in hockey. Have and always will be. Oilers fans are a close second. Devils fans have always cared more about the Rangers than their own team. Reason why you can hear crickets in their building many nights.

    Hey Dump,

Lighten up. You're making an a$$ out of yourself. No one said anything bad about the Rangers, Nash or otherwise. No one even said anything bad about you.....yet... Since you are the leading expert on the Devils, you must be watching a lot of their games to have such an informed opinion about them or are just one of those fans who just hate everyone else, regardless of reality. And plenty of other team's fans watch what ever game is on, even the Rangers. So they are allowed to have an opinion. It Says "SportsTwo" on the top of the page, not Dump's Super Secret Rangers Number One Fan Club.

Man, you must miss being able to delete posts....................I bet its killing you, post by post.
