Yeah I got this album on my Ipod a few years ago when it came out. Great album with great production, although his lyrics are lacking compared to previous years.As for Be, I agree, one of the best intros of all time. Another one off the top of my head that is awesome is genesis on Illmatic. Perfect setup for the album.
The intro to It Was Written is much better IMO but the Common intro ain't bad, I played that cd alot when I first got it.

ok it isnt THE best...I was just running out of time and had to leaveit's definitely one of the bestthe way it opens up is so nice

I was thinking about this in school while taking my italian midterm (I was going to fail either way), and after a lot of thought I think my favorite intro is Excursions by A Tribe Called Quest (from the Low End Theory).It also happens to be my favorite song off the album, which is very rare.
