You mean I am the only one surfing the Net;still using an 'Etch-a-Sketch' and "Rabbit Ears'??? which reminds me of using these: Mac 128K OS, actually a nice machine for its time....(1984)
Yup, all personal choices. Used them all, in various situations and needs. Just never been a fan of Apple, period. Apple people are techno trolls. As for CNET, you can find a review to agree your preferences, just like reading RSPN lol! Hybrids are the future, laptop when you need it, and media tablet when surfing playing or watching movies. I've traveled 250k miles since Jan 2015, and the folks rocking the mac air and iPad combos are giving way to the Surface and Chromebook crowd. Largely because iPhone lost its edge to Android. If you are willing to adopt a more comprehensive apple solution (laptop, tablet, phone, TV, iTunes and data storage then by all means go for it. But if you are only replacing a PC laptop and still have windows and Android based technologies throughout, mac laptop really doesn't add much value. Used to like Dell laptops, but don't care for them anymore. Many other more reasonable choices.
...wait, Apple people are "techo trolls"?...gee, thanx for the insult and the broad but incorrect generalization. Do you seriously think that is the reason I prefer Macs, and do you seriously think that conversely, Windows does not have its own corresponding share of geeks?...c'mon Tote, you're better than that. ...you missed my point...like I said, I only used CNET because you cited it first...go dig up another source that pimps Windows based PCs and I'll "trump" it again with one that pimps Apple. ...as far as "the future", well, that is up for debate...but we are talking about right NOW. As far as your extensive travel, that's also irrelevant because you can travel the world many times over and you can ask both Windows and OSX fans why they prefer their platform and you'll get the same answer/s from both sides. ...and sorry, but in case you are unaware or in case you have forgotten, you can also run a Window platform on a Mac but you cannot run OSX on a Windows based unit.
My travel observations speak to trends, and those trends are backed up by market share data, apple has better competition. You ever run your Mac on mirrors? It's an even cludgier windows experience. Enjoy your hipster Mac while you sip on that white chocolate macchiato, soy, no whip and surf Reddit to compare Pokemon stats.
^^^Oh please, just climb off your high horse with your "travels" crap, as if that makes your opinion beyond reproach...without realizing it, you just admitted they are totally unnecessary because you just admitted that market data is readily available and so again, you are basing your views on your opinion, as am I. ..."market share"?...wow, you're now talking sales numbers as if that somehow is a yardstick for quality...and it isn't. Apple has never had the lion's share of the market, but that's not what we're discussing. ...and as far as your last sentence, it is neither accurate nor appreciated...that's twice in this thread you've done that...so you can take your condescending stereotypical comment and stick it in your ear.
